From the surfaceto the stars.

ProjectWander is an in-development space-exploration RPG about the journey between places: walking across a generated world, boarding a ship, taking off and travelling farther.

Actual development capture

A look at the build, not a render.

This is an actual capture from the Godot prototype. The world art, interface and gameplay are works in progress.

The central idea

Places should feel connected.

ProjectWander is structured around the transition from exploring on foot to travelling in a ship, and back again. The prototype already links these different scales; turning that foundation into a compelling game is the work ahead.

01

Walk the world

Explore generated terrain and local environments.

02

Board and fly

Enter the ship, take off and land.

03

Travel farther

Move through a planetary system and beyond.

04

Return to ground

Get out and continue the journey on foot.

Inside the prototype

The foundations are visible. The game is not finished.

Several connected systems are present in the development build. They are foundations, not claims of finished content or polish.

The person behind the work

Small by design. Ambitious in scope.

Gigaslav is an independent game-development effort led by Yaroslav in Pafos, Cyprus. Its current focus is one project, developed system by system rather than presented as a finished product.
